The Scotphos
'PK System'

The Scotphos PK products can be used - in conjunction with nitrogen (N) - as a complete fertiliser system for grassland in their own right.

The Scotphos PK system, which takes advantage of all the agronomic and environmental features highlighted in previous pages, is simple, effective, flexible and economical.

SIMPLE
Total annual P and K requirements applied in one, 'out-of-season' application in the autumn / winter period.
Reduces the heavy spring workload.

EFFECTIVE
P and K in situ beside the feeder roots for uptake in the early spring.
Available for uptake as soon as soil temperatures reach 5 degrees C (often this is before ground conditions will carry a tractor and spreader).
Ensures soil fertility is optimised going into the spring.

FLEXIBLE
Top dress with straight N on an 'as and when' required basis to generate maximum growth.
Sustained supply of available P, together with available calcium from the Gafsa RPR, will ensure maximum uptake and utilisation of the N applied.

ECONOMICAL
Scotphos PK's are available in economical powder form.
Reduces the cost per acre of the fertiliser programme.
The nutrients do not get locked up or lost through run-off, so there is no waste and nutrient efficiency is maximised.

AGRONOMICALLY SOUND
Creates earlier growth.
Stimulates early season root and shoot activity.
Improves utilisation of N.
Not just P and K but also available calcium, sulphur, magnesium, sodium and trace elements (copper, cobalt, zinc, manganese, selenium and iodine).
