The
grazing requirements of horses and ponies are very specific in that
it is important the herbage is nutritionally well balanced without
being overly rich in nitrogen. Paddock pastures that are too lush
and high in nitrogen can result in colic, grass sickness and laminitis.

Choice' is a high quality, organic based fertiliser specifically
designed for the unique nutritional requirements of horse and pony
pastures.
'Paddock Choice' is based on calcified, marine deposits to give
soil conditioning properties in addition to nutrients.

The phosphate is contained in both immediately available and longer
lasting forms in a 50:50 proportion.
Product
recommendation
Apply at 250 - 375 kgs per hectare (10 - 15 x 25 kg bags per hectare)
(2 - 3 cwts per acre = 4 - 6 x 25 kg bags per acre)
For
optimum results apply in the early spring and again during the grazing
season if required.
