New
Choice Principles
The
principles of 'New Choice' are based on the criteria
for nitrogen
(N), phosphorus (P) and calcium (Ca) as discussed in previous
pages, namely: |
|
|
- Maximising
N efficiency and minimising N loss;
-
Supplying phased release P to feed the crop and maintain soil
P levels, whilst concurrently minimising P loss;
-
Supplying available calcium to build up soil calcium levels and
to help maximise the uptake of N.
'New
Choice' works by providing N, P, K, Ca and other important secondary
nutrients and trace elements in forms that allow for efficient recovery
and utilisation of nutrients and minimise nutrient losses to the
environment.
For
further details regarding 'New Choice' and how it works, please
refer to the Features and Benefits, Questions and Answers and Product
Specification tables on the following pages.
In
the meantime don't just take our word for the benefits of New Choice.
The concept has been developed over a number of years based on practice
and results. Carrs Fertilisers have been producing similar fertilisers
for the RSPB Scotland's farms for the past ten years. On the next
page is a letter from Jack Fleming, RSPB Scotland Farm Adviser outlining
his views on New Choice.
