2010 sees the launch of MaxiMaize Starter fertiliser from Carrs, containing Avail in a special formulation supplied in convenient 1 acre (25kg) packs.

Maxi-Maize is a new, unique starter fertiliser for Maize providing the following benefits:

• Good establishment is vital, and AVAIL ensures the phosphate remains available - the key to root development.
• Rapid leaf development needs readily available nitrogen and sulphur, both supplied in Maxi-Maize.
• Earlier maturing crops consistently result from the use of AVAIL.

Maxi-Maize has been specially formulated to supply Avail protected phosphate at the critical time of establishment, whilst maintaining the availability of phosphate throughout the growing season.

Maxi-Maize is recommended to be placed in the soil at planting at a rate of 25 kg per acre (62 kg/ha) and is supplied in convenient 25 kg (acre) bags or in 600 kg bags.
