Notes:
'Scotphos
Unground', also referred to by foresters as URP, P or Gafsa is naturally
occurring Gafsa Rock Phosphate from Tunisia in a coarse sand form.
Gafsa was identified as the most suitable source of rock phosphate
for UK forestry in extensive comparative trials undertaken by the
Forestry Commission at Alice Holt. When ordering P specify Gafsa
as there are several other rock phosphates, many of which are of
little or no silvicultural value.
'Scotphos
Unground' contains 29.5% P2O5 which equates to 13% P. Therefore,
when applied at 450 kgs per hectare, the product will supply the
optimum 60 kgs P per hectare as determined by the Forestry Commission.
The
granular version of the product is known as 'G27' (or granular P).
Our
PK products (both powder and granular) are produced by mixing phosphate
(P) and potassium (K) in the proportions 450 kgs : 200 kgs as per
Forestry Commission recommendations to ensure, that irrespective
of the application rate, the nutrients are in the correct ratios
relative to each other.
UreaPhos (NP) is produced by mixing phosphate (P) and urea (N) in
the proportions
450 kgs : 350 kgs as per Forestry Commission recommendations to
ensure, that irrespective of the application rate, the nutrients
are in the correct ratios relative to each other.
Forestry
NPK is produced by mixing urea (N), phosphate (P) and potassium
(K) in the proportions 350 kgs: 450 kgs: 200 kgs as per Forestry
Commission recommendations to ensure, that irrespective of the application
rate, the nutrients are in the correct ratios relative to each other.
