Given
the specific nutritional requirements of sugar beet and its quantative and qualitive
response to fertiliser, it is important to undertake regular soil analysis for
P, K, Mg, Na and B.Select
appropriate Beet Choice grade
Beet
Choice offers a wide range of analysis to match the nutritional
requirements as determined by soil analysis. (Special grades can,
if required, be formulated on request, minimum 9 tonnes).
Application
Apply
Beet Choice at the recommended application rate in one dressing,
either on stubble, or on ploughed ground during winter for medium
and heavy soils, or in January / February on light sandy soils (preferably
before ploughing) to minimise the risk of leaching losses. Apply
up to 3 weeks before drilling.

No. 11 * is the equivalent of Kainit.
Boron can be added depending on soil analysis.
